Nigerian midfield kingpin leads team to victory in cup tie.

Henry Chima Okebugwu was the headline attraction for his side KS Kastrioti as they returned to winning ways after seeing off competition from KS Korabi in the Albanian Cup 2nd leg fixture at the Kastrioti Stadium, Kruje to record a moral boosting victory for the Elvis Plori led boys.

Henry Okebugwu returned to the starting XI as he was not featured at the weekend in the one-all Superliga Draw against KF Laçi as a result of a thigh sprain. His influence was felt as soon as the game started with his great vision and sleek passing creating chances for his team and causing a scare for the opposition in a game that the Kruje outfit needed to win or secure a goalless draw to qualify for the next round of the competition after the 1st leg ended one-all at the Korabi Peshkopi Stadium in Peshkopi, Diber County.

The goal came as the Umuahia born Midfield Kingpin picked up a loose ball which was a result of a defensive clearance after a Korabi corner. Henry then dribbled past two players and fed a delightful fly through ball to Cameroonian Preston Tabortetaka on the left flank who delivered a sweet cross to Herald Marku in the box to tap in for the only goal of the game in the 27minute.

Speaking after the game the former FC Ifeanyi Ubah Player said "I'm thankful to God for the victory in the game as we needed this win to qualify for the next round, the Peshkopi outfit were strong but we showed them we are better. We now have to pray for a good draw in the cup and use this momentum to get out of the drop zone with a positive result in the league."

Henry Okebugwu and KS Kastrioti now turn their focus back to their next Superliga clash away from home against KS Flamurtari Vlore at the Flamurtari Stadium, Vlore.
